Konsep wang untuk pelajar tahun 2

Kebanyakan daripada kita (guru) sering mengalami masalah dengan pelajar yang kurang memahami pembelajaran tentang topik wang.Pelajar sering salah tentang konsep menukar wang syiling ke dalam ringgit.Selepas kita mengajar, mereka(pelajar) akan kata paham,bila dh buat latihan apa yang di katakan faham tadi entah kemana.

Kosep menukar wang syiling kepada ringgit.

1. Guru perlu memberitahu pelajar bahawa wang syiling (sen) nilainya kurang daripada 100 iaitu sehingga 99 sahaja.Sekiranya lebih daripada 99 maka wang tersebut menjadi nilai ringgit.
2. Guru perlu mengajar nilai tempat dan kedudukan titik dalam menulis nilai ringgit dan sen.


                        RM 5 . 30

RM = Ringgit Malaysia perlu di tulis di depan sekali.
5 = Nombor yang berada di depan sekali adalah nombor Ringgit.(Nilainya lebih daripada 100 )
. = Titik menandakan pengasingan antara nilai ringgit dan nilai sen.
30 = Nombor 30 adalah nilai sen (Nilainya kurang daripada 100)

Learning area : Measure and comparing volumes of liquid

Learning Objectives : Measure and compare volumes of liquid by direct comparison and by
using uniform non standard units.

Learning Outcomes: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to measure and compare volume of liquids by using non-standard units correctly.

Prior Knowledge:  Pupils had learn how to compare objects: more or less, many or a few, high or low during their previous lesson.

Teaching aids : Different sizes of containers, a pail of water, cup ,mug
Vocabulary : more, less


Set Induction

Student will be given 3 different size of objects.
Student wiil be ask for which objects have more water or less water and high or low.
Student will give the answer base on objects their see.

Development ( for high achiever)


  • Divide the class into groups of four students and have them work in their cooperative groups.

  • Give each group 5 containers of different sizes and a pail of water.see Teaching aids 2
  • Have the students estimate the number of cups needed to fill the containers with the full of water.
  • Have the students fill the 5 containers and  check their estimate with true containers measurment
  • Repeat for the other containers.
  • Have the students record their findings in the following table below.

Conclusion

How to measure and know the volume of containers

To know for sure let's measure the volume.Volume is how loud something is,this is one kind
of volume.Volume is measuring the amount of space something takes up.If we look at the
two container from different direction,they look like they are different size,but if we measure
them,we might find that they are the same volume.
